2018 Dams Challenge

Register now for the 2018 Dams Challenge – Western Australia's premier on-road cycling challenge. This year, there are four daring courses to choose from, including the 5 Dams Challenge, 3 Dams Challenge, Duo Dams Challenge, and the 2 Dams Challenge.

The event begins and concludes at Champion Lakes Regatta and each course includes multiple food and water stations, motorbike marshals, first aid, and hydration supplies.

Each category is as follows:

– 5 Dams Challenge: a challenging but thrilling course that involves a 200km ride with over 2,000m of vertical climbing. Standard pricing from January 1 – $179 for BWA members, $219 for non-BWA members. Late pricing after March 27 – $189 for BWA members, $229 for non-BWA members.

– 3 Dams Challenge: this course features a 135km ride around 3 dams. Suitable for those wanting to build their way up to the 5 Dams Challenge. Standard pricing from January 1 – $179 for BWA members, $219 for non-BWA members. Late pricing after March 27 – $189 for BWA members, $229 for non-BWA members.

– Duo Dams Challenge: new to 2018, this category is for the avid triathlete. This course is 107km long and finishes with a 10km run back to Champion Lakes. Standard pricing from January 1 – $109 for BWA members, $129 for non-BWA members. Late pricing after March 27 – $119 for BWA members, $139 for non-BWA members.

– 2 Dams Challenge: another new category in 2018, this is perfect for a rider aspiring to complete the 3 or 5 Dams Challenges' in the future. This category is 53km. Pricing from January 1 – $89 for BWA members, $99 for non-BWA members. Late pricing after March 27 – $99 for BWA members, $109 for non-BWA members.

This is NOT a race, however all riders will be timed. This helps us track your progress, locate you on the course, and for your own information.
