Visitors to the heart of city will be able to experience a unique open air gallery presenting an array of large scale urban art. Shopfronts and walls along Wellington, William and Murray Street Mall have become temporary canvasses for works by 12 amazing artists creating an exciting new cultural destination. The gallery is a first for Perth and blends extraordinary and edgy paintings from emerging artists alongside some of Australia’s biggest names including Phibs, Andy Quilty, Anya Brock, Amok and Pip Mcmanus. The 140 ART urban art campaign marks the beginning of Cbus Property’s multi-million dollar transformation of the precinct to create an inspiring fusion of food, fashion and art in one contemporary destination. 140 ART is open free to the public until 31 January 2014.
