Pick a side. Choose a weapon.
A young couple play a video game in a last ditch attempt to save their marriage. When the game becomes a little too real, they find themselves fighting for more than just their relationship.
Inspired by the action-adventure stories of the nineties, 10,000 is an imaginative take on the breakup drama that deftly blends comedy, fantasy and science fiction.
If you hit restart enough times, can you reboot a broken relationship? Is love just an excuse we use to hurt people we care about? This piece tackles big questions with heart and humour — and some very convincing swordplay.
Written by Jessica Messenger (The Standover Man, Multiverse Theory in D) and Nick Maclaine (Exactly Like You), 10,000 is for anyone who has ever loved and lost, and lost, and lost, and lost again.
Warnings: Strobe lighting, sword fighting and mild coarse language. Recommended for ages 15+.
