Back in Australia for the first time since 1989, Liza Minnelli will perform in Perth at Burswood Dome on Tuesday 20 October 2009.
Based on her current hit Broadway show “Liza’s At The Palace”, the evening will feature an incomparable Minnelli songfest including many of her personal favourites and signature hits.
Along with a twelve-piece orchestra led by conductor/drummer Michael Berkowitz and pianist/musical supervisor Billy Stritch, the performance will feature many of Liza’s showstoppers such as “Cabaret”, “Maybe This Time” and “Theme From New York, New York”.
Liza Minnelli first toured Australia in the late 1960’s with Peter Allen and played Chequers Nite Club in Sydney. The last visit to Australia for Liza was with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jnr. in 1989 with The Ultimate Event.

Alice Cooper returns to Australia with his “Theatre of Death” tour and performs in Perth at Challenge Stadium on Tuesday 1 September 2009.

Slava’s Snowshow is a theatrical clown show, and will be in Perth from 2 to 6 September 2009 at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco.

Eskimo Joe are back for a tour around Australia, and perform at Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday 15 an Sunday 16 August 2009.

Air Supply perform with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra at the Perth Concert Hall on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May 2009.
The Australian group Air Supply have had hit singles in every decade since they formed in 1976. They return to Perth to perform these hits plus many more including All Out of Love, The One That You Love and Even The Nights Are Better in this spectacular concert event with WASO.
The Saturday show starts at 7.30pm and the Sunday (Mother’s Day show) starts at 3pm.

Direct from Broadway, the master of improvisation, Martin Short, heads to Australia for the first time and will perform at Burswood Theatre on Tuesday 26 May 2009.
Well known as the eccentric wedding planner ‘Franck’ from ‘Father of the Bride’; his many appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and alongside Chevy Chase and Steve Martin in ‘The Three Amigo’s’ Martin Short is bringing his one man show to Australia.
The show is a musical evening of comedy that highlights everything Martin Short does best, bringing together many of the characters who made him famous. The show includes a dynamic combination of songs, video, bits, and sketches.
