their 2009 world tour in the UK before heading down under to play all-ages arena shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth featuring the same spectacular production that Europe will see in February.
This scorching band of singer/dancers have quickly become without doubt one of the most popular and globally successful girl groups ever.
There has been no escape from the super catchy Platinum hit When I Grow Up, the first single lifted from Doll Domination, quickly followed by the top 10 hit I Hate This Part.
Showing their brand of hot, confident attitude, Pussycat Dolls shot to fame in 2005 with the release of their massive debut single Donât Cha featuring Busta Rhymes, hitting number 1 in charts around the world.

Bring out your best kicks for these guys, there will be some serious dancing had… “all the girls standing in the line for the bathroom” – with me?
All the Basement Jaxx ask is for you to do your thing to their bumpinâ beat, make your body sing – that is, when theyâre not asking you to take them back to your house… those flirts! The festival season has begun, though the summer festival weather hasnât!
But it didnât stop the fun last Sunday, 23 November, with Vroom Festival on the Oak Lawn at UWA, and Global Gathering on the Esplanade.
Vroom 2008! was the end of year Student Summer break party, but students and non students of all ages were welcome. Bands that played were John and the Inverarities, Harlequin League, Red Jezebel, The Panda Band, Bluejuice, Dukes of Windsor and British India. It was promoted as ‘good food, good times, good toonsâ. It was a good time, good music, but I definitely didnât consider pies, sausage rolls, hot dogs and simple sandwiches worth a mention as ‘good foodâ(wasnât bad though)!

Global Gathering hit Perth for the first time this year, and featured acts like Kraftwerk, Mark Ronson, Gorillaz Sound System, Sasha, The Orb, Felix Da Housecat and many more.

The Who perform in Perth for the first time ever, on Saturday 4 April 2009 at Members Equity Stadium!
Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Simon Townshend (guitars), Zak Starkey (drums), Pino Palladino (bass) and John âRabbitâ Bundrick (keys) have just finished a US and Japanese tour, performing to rave reviews and are keen to continue on the road next year.
In spite of the loss of original members Keith Moon (in 1978) and John Entwistle (in 2002), the Who remains the standard-bearer for great live rock and roll and are still one of the most in demand live acts in the business. Recent U.S set lists include âCanât Explainâ, âWho Are Youâ, âBehind Blue Eyesâ, âWonât Get Fooled Againâ, âMy Generationâ, âPinball Wizardâ, âTea And Theatreâ and âBaba OâReillyâ to name a few!
They have sold over 100 million albums and been an inspiration to everyone from The Clash to the Ramones to Pearl Jam. It is impossible to underestimate their importance in the annals of rock history. They have been honoured with every prestigious award going. And in an honour many bands would crave, The Who also is recognized in the Guinness Book of Records as the worldâs loudest band!
Support acts are Counting Crows and Dallas Crane.
Counting Crows have been a huge presence in the music world; from initial hit single âMr. Jonesâ to the 2005 Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated âAccidentally In Loveâ. Their latest album âSaturday Nights & Sunday Morningsâ sees the band split their musical personality with the rock âSaturday Nightsâ produced by Gil Norton (of Pixies and Foo Fighters fame) whilst the more acoustic âSunday Morningsâ portion had Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron and Wine) at the desk.
Tickets on sale Wednesday 3 December from Ticketmaster.
