The event also features a 24 hour cinema program, 24 hour food, a 50m round & 6m deep therapeutic salt pond where you can float like a cork without moving a muscle, incredible rock walks, some of Australia’s best stargazing and of course the authentic Aussie bush.
Wave Rock Weekender is……
– an authentic all-weekend, long-weekend experience.
– an intimate capacity 800 show set in and around the Wave Rock Caravan Park that the town let us take over for the weekend.
– a place where toilets, showers, food and bar access are never a problem
– not an English country garden festival or sports oval event – it’s in beautiful salty, scrubby, bushy Australia on the edge of the desert featuring; prehistoric rock formations, eerie salt plains, shiny salmon gums, wildflowers and big, big sky. Let the music bring it alive.
Tickets go on sale Monday 11 August from www.soulhighway.com.au.

can anybody tell me if the ticket includes camping?
I just called the wave rock caravan park and some dumbo who didn’t seem to know anything about this festival told me that accommodation was already sold out. and this is before tickets have even been released????
Oh yes, it would include camping.
Maybe it’s sold out because the festival has hired the whole place. I’m not sure. But if you get a festival ticket, you’ll have accomodation, that I’m sure of 🙂
Plenty of camping sites available at Corrigin Caravan Park where you will enjoy quiet country accommodation and only a short drive to Wave Rock on the day of events.
Will there be any public transport to wave rock?
No public transportation in the bush! Your own car (transport) will be necessary. Hope we see you.
There is supposed to be a Bus to the event. $40 return, leaving from Leederville if I remember correctly.
Maps! where are the maps? from Perth to Hyden stating all towns you will drive through on the way would be good.
Take the Brookton Highway you will drive through Brookton, Corrigin, Kondinin then Hyden. The road is well signed and pretty straightforward. Corrigin Caravan Park still has some camping sites available. Full kitchen and bbq facilities available as well as clean amenities and hot showers/laundry.
