Peter CombePeter Combe, of Toffee Apple and Newspaper Mama fame, heads out for another tour. Peter will perform with the Juicy Juicy Green Grass Band at the Fly By Night on Saturday 5 July and Capitol in Perth on Sunday 6 July 2008.

This time around, Peter Combe brings a full band (including Phil!) plus all the hits from his ABC TV appearances through the late ’80s and early ’90s. When these adults were youngsters (pre Wiggles, pre Hi-5) Peter Combe was indisputably the ‘King Of The Kids’! It’s once again time to don the newspaper hats and get the toffee apples out as Peter brings it home with the Juicy Juicy Green Grass Band!

These will be Clare’s last shows for some time in Australia before she relocates to Berlin to pursue exciting European opportunities including intensive touring and an imminent album release. Strung Out + No Use for a NameStrung Out return to Australia, this time bringing No Use for a Name with them.

The Californian punk rocks band will perform at Players Bar in Mandurah on Friday 4 July, Capitol in Perth on 5 July and the Newport in Fremantle on Sunday 6 July 2008.

No Use for a Name have no idea what to expect, but Strung Out are no strangers to our far flung corners, having played over 50 shows here with Frenzal Rhomb back in 2001. Last time they took a bunker mentality, cramming 10 people into a 4 sleeper campervan and spending much of the bumpy ride peering fearfully out of the windows in search of yowies and Ivan Milat.

Tickets from BOCS, on sale soon.
