Interpol return to Australia and perform in Perth at Metro City on Sunday 17 February 2008.
Having defined their own genre New York City’s purveyors of dark rock, Interpol, return to Australia for the third time. Interpol first turned heads across the world in 2002 with their breakthrough definitive debut album, Turn On The Bright Lights. They quickly followed up this massive effort with the equally lauded Antics. Third album Our Love To Admire is their first album on major label Capitol records.

Rod Stewart returns to Australia and will perform in Perth on Wednesday 5 March at Members Equity Stadium.

Australian rock band Noiseworks perform in Perth for one night only, at Metro City on Friday 30 November 2007. They will be supported by the Choirboys and Move Trees.
Noiseworks have reformed to return to the stage and to rock hard. The band line up includes original founders, Jon Stevens, Steve Balbi, Stuart Fraser, Kevin Nicol, and introduces Scott Aplin. Be prepared for a True Aussie Rock show with one of the biggest bands in OZ Rock History.

Nightwish (from Finland) perform at Metropolis Fremantle on Sunday 27 January 2008.
When it comes to epic metal and gothic symphony, Nightwish stand alone. Nightwish’s style has established them as the foremost exponent of the “Operatic Metal” genre; they not only spearheaded the movement but also prompted a myriad of pale imitators following in their wake.

Spank Rock return to Australia and perform at Shape in East Perth Metropolis Fremantle on 10 January 2008.
Drawing on the music of their hometown, Baltimore, Spank Rock makes something genuinely unlike anything you’ve heard before. Of course there are antecedents – Missy’s first album, 2 Live Crew, the Beastie Boys and Dizzee Rascal all spring to mind – but Spank Rock demands to be approached on their own terms.

Rollercoaster is happening again in Mandurah on Saturday 29 December 2007.
The line-up consists of the Hilltop Hoods, You Am I, The Black Keys, Shihad, Kisschasy, Jebediah, Birds of Tokyo and Ash Grunwald.
It’s a diamond of an event that’s sparkles on the Mandurah Foreshore every year between Xmas and New Years and this year is no exception.
Rollercoaster is now in its third year and is becoming an iconic show in the WA calendar because of its simple an effective formula; an event with an awesome line up, a well priced ticket, a beautiful location, a generous grassy venue and all on offer at a time of year where people are relaxed, happy and ready to party.
It’s all happening on the Western Foreshore in Mandurah from 3pm, and it’s an all ages festival with licensed areas.
