Linkin Park - Perth - Australia Linkin Park tour Australia in October 2007 and perform in Perth at Burswood Dome on 18 October.

Special guest is Chris Cornell and his band (Founding member and vocalist with Soundgarden, Audioslave , Temple of Dog)!

Lauded as one of the most dynamic live acts around, Linkin Park will bring a slew of aural treasures with them, treating the audience to a mix of old and new with a set list that ranges from the lead single What I’ve Done from the #1 album Minutes to Midnight, to favourites from Hybrid Theory, Meteora and everything in between.

Motorhead - Perth AustraliaMotörhead is touring Australia again in October and will perform at Challenge Stadium in Perth on 16 October 2007.

Rose Tattoo and The Casanovas will be supporting.

Like AC/DC, playing rock and roll is all Motorhead have ever done and after more than three decades they unquestionably and unarguably remain the real deal. The trio are a crushingly loud religion, a proud institution in a world where for too many real rock and roll is a forgotten art, a genre that’s only dragged out when the t shirt looks good.

Jimmy Barnes Day on the Green PerthJimmy Barnes is headlining A Day on the Green at Sandalford Wines in the Swan Valley on Sunday 11 November 2007.

He will be supported by Vanessa Amorosi, Mahalia Barnes, Richard Clapton and Colin Hay.

Anyone who has experienced a JIMMY BARNES concert leaves with no doubt why this mercurial performer has become one of our most popular and best-loved. Its ‘pedal to the metal’ from go to whoa as Barnesy belts out hit after hit from his 30-year career, songs that have become indelibly stamped in the Australian psyche.

His set usually includes solo smash hits like ‘Working Class Man’, ‘Too Much (Ain’t Enough Love)’, ‘I’d Die To Be With You Tonight’, ‘Good Times’, ‘Ride The Night Away’, plus soul classics from the multi-platinum ‘Soul Deep’ album such as ‘Ain’t No Mountain (High Enough)’ and of course the unforgettable Cold Chisel tracks that started it all.

Gates open at 2pm, and Jimmy Barnes plays last at 7.30pm.

Boney M Perth Boney M , the disco cult band from the 70’s and 80’s, will perform at Burswood Theatre on Saturday 3 November 2007.

The group had eight Number One hits in the European charts with the following singles: Daddy cool, Sunny, Ma Baker, Belfast, Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl in the Ring, Rasputin, Mary’s Boy Child.

In 2007, Boney M. featuring Liz Mitchell is still a phenomenal live act drawing huge crowds across Europe.

Boney M also perform at Friends Restaurant on 29 and 30 October, but both of these shows have sold out already.

Bad Religion Bad Religion will be performing with Strung Out and MYC at Metro City on 11 November 2007.

Bad Religion’s rousing wall-of-sound punk seems about as necessary now as ever before. If you discovered them in their finest hour, when albums like Suffer, Against the Grain and No Control were made of vinyl, or if you saw them on the Warped tour or found them under “influences” on your favourite chart topping punk rock band’s myspace page, it’s time to join all like minded malcontents and say “GOD (however you choose (or not) to define that term) BLESS BAD RELIGION”, for being a shining beacon amongst the sea of noise that goes by the name of punk rock today!

Up! Festival has been cancelled! Michael Franti should be back in the country in 2008. Ben Lee solo shows will be announced soon.

The Up! Festival is coming! It’s a new music, art and media festival that has been founded by Spearhead front-man Michael Franti.

In Perth, the festival is happening on 14 September 2007 at Challenge Stadium. The line-up includes Michael Franti and Spearhead, Ben Lee, Blue King Brown and Old Man River.

It will be an all ages show, and tickets go on sale from Ticketmaster on 31 July.

“I want to encourage people to have their voices heard and get used to that. One way of giving back to the community is allowing everyone to record, videotape, upload, download, blog any way they can and share it. All cameras, phones, audio recorders are legal! Everything’s legal at the Up! Festival,” Michael Franti explains.
