Southbound 2010

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

CROWD_GENERAL4

This weekend is going to be a special one – with the founder of EnjoyPerth! currently flying all around the world, the rest of the EP! office decided it was time for us to spoil ourselves by getting our butts down south for the annual Southbound music festival. Sure, we had to sell all the computers in the office and sell Jamie (resident lawn bowler, kidney donator and meteorologist) to the local underground slave trade but we managed to get enough cash to guarantee a good time. During this period of time the EP! offices will be empty so feel free to break in and burn the place down to the ground as the insurance payout will be super sweet.

For those people out there who are currently on the fence about joining us, you’d better make up your mind as tickets will not be available at the venue – you MUST get your hands on a pass ASAP otherwise you WILL miss out. I figure TYPING sentences with random capitalised WORDS will MAKE you do stuff that you’re procrastinating OVER. Right?

Tickets are still available all over the place (heck, even our photo monkey is selling some) but if you don’t know where to go, why not direct your web browsing fingers to Moshtix and get yourself south bound this weekend. Tix are available online until midnight this Thursday, January 7, and then Weekend Festival and Weekend Happy Camper Tickets can be purchased exclusively from Blue 62 Sight & Sound in Busselton until midday Saturday (Shop 13, Boulevard Shopping Centre (08) 9752 3522).

For those who can’t get down to Southbound – never fear! If you log on the fancy website below, you might be able to score yourself a car-pool buddy!

http://www.liftshare.com/?sub=3188

Do you have one of those fancy smart phones? Well, to make things easier at the festival, log onto http://mysouthbound.sunsetevents.com.au/ with your phone and you’ll get instant access to the line-up and a bunch of other important stuff. Honest.

And finally, DO YOU LIKE WINNING STUFF??

Good, I’m glad you do. Well, all you need to do to win two VIP passes to EVERY Sunset Festival in 2010 (including Southbound 2011) is print off the below form, bring it into a participating Gull Service Station on the way to Southbound and get it stamped. Everything else you need to do is on the form itself. So what are you waiting for?!

EnjoyPerth – SOUTHBOUND 2010 Gull Southbound Competition Form

While you’re busy wasting the printer toner at work printing out all these forms, you might like to print out the following maps and timetables for the festival too. Then all your friends can call you captain organised (then mock you behind your back).

EnjoyPerth – SOUTHBOUND 2010 Playtimes
EnjoyPerth – SOUTHBOUND 2010 Festival Map
EnjoyPerth – SOUTHBOUND 2010 Camping Map
EnjoyPerth – SOUTHBOUND 2010 Basecamp Playtimes

Whatever you do, I hope you join us at Southbound – its gonna be bonkers! Also, if you see one of the EnjoyPerth! crew there, don’t hesitate to say hi, pose for a picture and buy us a drink or five in the beer tent. We work hard to bring you all this stuff.

- love, hugs and kisses, your EnjoyPerth! pal grum.
