The Power! Album Show at Villa

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

Those crazy kids at Boomtick have a little bit of a shindig happening on Friday the 12th of March called Power! – see that exclamation mark? It means you have to stand up and make a first with your hand every time you talk about the event Power! Housemeister will be there, along with Boys Noize who was recently at Future Music festival. I caught them on stage and I can promise you that this show will be of da hooooook (said in a high pitched voice). So make sure you go. Now. Go. *waves hands*

Actually, on the topic of Boomtick, next week they’re gonna announce a very big event happening on the Foundation Day long weekend. We here at EnjoyPerth! already know about it but we’ve been sworn to secrecy (actually, not really but we’re gonna beg for some free passes so we need to be in their good books) but what I can say is that it’ll be a lot of doof doof followed by a bunch of whistle whistle and then hihat hihat. Guessed what it is yet? No? Keep an eye on EP! as its gonna be a biggie!

Tickets available HERE!
Details on Power! can be fond on the EP! event page.

Regina Spektor – 21 April 2010

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

Regina Spektor has announced a national tour and performs in Perth in April.

When Regina Spektor’s family moved from her birthplace of the Soviet Union to America’s Bronx, her musical interests and talent expanded from the genre of classical music toward the vibrancy of pop and rock. These transitions of location and taste are reflected in the classical artistry within her piano composition and distinctive eclectic fusion of sounds. Adding to her repertoire of skills is her ability to play not only the piano but the guitar and occasional percussion as well, rendering her a truly versatile musician.
