Read all about the different ticket options (Happy Camper (Friday and Saturday and camping – $197+bf) Saturday only (119+bf), Fri+Sat ($189+bf) and the VIP options on the Southbound website. Public tickets go on sale 15 September, but read about the pre-sale ticket ballot here.
The festival is all ages, but camping only for 18+.

When buying tickets it asks for your names for each different ticket. Are these printed on the tickets and as a result can only that person use that ticket? If one friend bails, can he just give it to someone else?

Jimmy – you can change the names via the website (well, you could last year), and then it sends you a new e-ticket I think. Check the terms on the Southbound website.

just wondering to camp if under 18 years of age you need a parent or legal guardian
does this mean that it would be acceptable if you have a person camping with you who is over 18 or does this not count for a legal guardian….

From the southbound website:
• Unless you are a accompanied by your parent or legal guardian YOU MUST BE 18 TO CAMP.
• Children must be accompanied at all times by their parents or legal guardian in the camping area and in the licensed camping entertainment area.
• If you are not accompanied by your parent or legal guardian at ALL TIMES you could all be EVICTED from the festival.
• Valid photo ID (a current Australian driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card) is required for entry into the campgrounds.
