Supergrass have announced sideshows to their ‘The Great Escape’ show, and will be playing in Fremantle at Metropolis on Wednesday 8 October 2008.

During the 90’s Britpop era, this motley crew of cheeky youngsters typified the upbeat and positive mood of a nation who just wanted a damn good party. With their mad hair, massive sideburns and wild, crazy, running-along-the-beach-without-a-care-in-the-world type antics, Supergrass were the band of choice for the kids.

Diamond Hoo-Ha is their sixth studio album and is the band at their exhuberant best. It’s an album of raucous rock ’n roll songs that are glitzy and glam as they are punchy and gritty. With simmering verses, taut rhythms and flirtatious bass lines, this is effortless cool and in the words of NME “definitely worth making a hoo-ha over”.
