Shakespeare in the Park – Summer 2008

Shakespeare in the Park Deckchair Theatre will once again present their annual ‘Shakespeare in the Park’ in King’s Park.

This year ‘As You Like It’ will be peformed from 11 January to 9 February 2008.

Always offering a contemporary take on these classic texts, deckchair theatre produce Shakespeare with flair, skill and humour.

As You Like It is one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies. In this amazing production love, injustice, humour, marriage and a string of peculiar, highly entertaining encounters take place in a psychedelic rain forest.

Standard weekend tickets are $195 + booking fee and individual day tickets are $125 + booking fee per day and are available from Friday, December 14.
You are encouraged to pay the Optional Green Fee for an extra $2, which will be used to offset your carbon emissions to and from the festival.

Future Music Festival is happening again on Sunday 2 March 2008 (the next day is the Labour Day public holiday) at Wellington Square in Perth.
