What’s on in Perth - 7 to 13 May 07

The highlights of what’s on in Perth, Western Australia this week(end), from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 May 2007.

Many of the events below are free, some are under $20 and others you will need to book tickets, so please always click on the links to see more information.

Festivals/expos etc:

Kulcha’s 10th Anniversary is celebrated from 4 to 11 May. Jenny Simpson free on Monday evening, Dance from around the world, free on Wednesday evening etc!

Pickering Brook Agricultural Show (behind Kalamunda) is on Saturday and Sunday from 10am till late, with all the regular show happenings.

2007 Australian Innovation Festival from Thursday 26 April to 31 May

Music concerts:

Silverchair at Metropolis on Sunday 6 and 7 May (sold out)

Glenn Shorrock (the voice of the Little River Band) at various locations, 8 to 12 May

Lunchtime concerts are on again at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thurdays from 12.30 to 1.30pm.

Stone Sour at Metro City on 11 May

Closer featuring Stacey Pullen (5 hr Set) at Ambar on 11 May

Jeff Lang performs at the Fly By Night on Friday 11 May (seeyou there!) and Indi Bar on 12 May

The WA Opera Chorus in Concert for their 40th Anniversary at Government House of Saturday 12 May.

Dragonforce at Club Capitol on Sunday 13 May

Best of British at Perth Concert Hall on Sunday

Free matinee film screenings have started again at the Alexander Library in Perth, each Wednesday from 12.30 at the Perth Cultural Centre (north of central train station), until November.
