Alice Cooper – 13 July

Monday, May 7th, 2007

Alice Cooper Alice Cooper will be performing in Perth on 13 July 2007 at Burswood Theatre!

Although Alice Cooper is much more than just a rock legend these days – he’s a restaurateur, the host of a successful syndicated radio show (on 96fm I believe?), a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and soon, the published author of a book on golf – his live performances remain untamed, hi-tech musical and visual spectacles that leave fans gasping and cheering.

Band members include: Ex-Kiss Eric Singer (drums), Chuck Garric (bass), Keri Kelli (guitar) and Jason Hook (guitar).

Tickets available from Ticketek from 11 May, but presale from noon 9 May.

A Reserve tickets are $130 and B Reserve 100.

OK Go – 6 August

Saturday, May 5th, 2007

OK Go (the ones from the treadmill clip on YouTube) are performing at Capitol on 6 August 2007. Wow, that video has over 16 million views, and it won a Grammy for Best Short-Form Music Video!

Anyone who has witnessed the exhilaration of the band’s live show will recognize the frenetic drive at the heart of Oh No (the new album). The band’s energy doesn’t stop at the edge of the stage or the end of the disc. From the influential how-to guide they published for bands hoping to unseat President Bush (you should have seen the avalanche of hate mail that won them), to the monthly column they wrote for a Japanese rock magazine, to their tour of America as house band for public radio program This American Life, OK Go always seems to find a new corner of the world to explore and make their own. With Oh No, they’re coming after yours.

Tickets on sale from 11 May through BOCS, 78 Records, Mills Records and Planet Video for about $45
