Hip hop heavyweight Xzibit will be back in Australia, and performing at Capitol in Perth on 26 June 2007.
Xzibit is one of music’s most proficient artists. With over six million albums sales to his name, he has been heralded as one of the most skilled emcees in the game. But X has always looked above and beyond, lending himself to video games, cinema and television. From his wildly successful MTV show Pimp My Ride, to starring in films with Samuel Jackson, Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen, Xzibit has become a household name.
This will be an 18+ show with Dafari (originally a member of Tha Alkaholiks, alongside Xzibit).

I saw Xzibit last time he came at Freo Metros. I was bitterly disappointed. He mimed the verses of his songs which was so appalling I wanted to leave early but had paid 70 odd dollars so felt compelled to stay. Xzibit was one of my favourite rappers – At the Speed of Life is in my top ten hip-hop albums ever – but he lost a massive amount of cred in my eyes after this horrible display. Miming rap?!? I have never in all my years seen it happen and thought I never would. Perhaps he has grown complacent after ‘pimping’ so many rides.
I will not be wasting my money again but for those of you who do I hope it proves a better night than last time. Xzibit – you blow.
