Bunbury International Jazz Festival - Feb 07

If you’re into jazz, I’m sure you won’t mind driving the 200km to Bunbury for the inaugural Bunbury International Jazz Festival, held on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February 2007 in the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.

The line-up of the paid component of the festival includes the vibrant New York jazz trumpeter John Sneider, the Euro-Brazilian sultry sounds of Lica Cecato, Los Angeles jazz artist Carmen Lundy. internationally acclaimed Melbourne jazz pianist Joe Chindamo, Lil’ Fi who will bring her own unique musicianship to the festival – from Bessie to Basie.
Standard day tickets are $51.50 and weekend tickets are $90.35 through BOCS.

There is also a free component of the festival, which includes performances in ANZAC Park and Centenary Gardens by outstanding WA jazz groups and workshops in the foyer of the Entertainment Centre by some of the artists performing
