Not to much on this week, I think ‘they’ are assuming most people will be busy shopping for Christmas and the like!
Music
The Perth Jazz Society meet at the Hyde Park Hotel every Monday night from 8pm. This week it’s the Ladies of Jazz Christmas Concert.
The Perth Blues Club meets at the Charles Hotel every Tuesday night from 8.30pm. This week Mo’ Candy, John Meyer, Rick Steele and others are performing.
The Christmas Nativity Concerts/Plays are on from 7.30pm in Forrest Place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, as part of the City of Perth Christmas Festival.
DieDie! perform at the Amplifier Bar on Friday and Mojos on Saturday night.
The Northern Soul and Classic Motown night is on again at the Fly By Night in Freo.’
Like all kinds of funky music? Check out the Funk Club, in Leederville on Friday nights, and North Fremantle on Saturday nights.
Seriously Sound System is being held in Hyde Park on Saturday afternoon/evening. Line-up includes Sir Apple, The Crux and many more.
The Not So Silent Night X-Pressmas is being held on Saturday night at the Rosemount, with Red Jezebel, Eleventh He Reaches London and more.
Leo from Perth Sounds has organised a christmas party at the Velvet Lounge in Mt Lawley with Nina X, Josivac and many more.
The Inthemix Christmas Party will be held at Bar Open in Northbridge from 9pm.
Free music every Sunday: Freo Arts Centre courtyard music, and Sunset@Subi in Subiaco.

The Outdoor Cinema season has started, with Lotterywest Festival Films at Somerville, UWA and Joondalup Pines, Camelot Outdoor Cinema in Mosman park, Moonlight Cinema in King’s Park, Movies by Burswood in Burswood Park, and Luna Outdoor in Leederville!
Other
Festival of Cricket: the Ashes Urn & Howzat! Exhibition is on at WA Museum. The Ashes are still on at the WACA, with the Live Site in Northbridge.
Skating on a skating rink (special surface, not ice) at Whitford City from 9am to 9pm.
The weekly Fremantle Village Arts Markets are held every Thursday throughout summer, and the Joondalup Sunset Markets are held every Friday evening.
The Fremantle ones are on till 7pm this week, it’s a special christmas edition.
