Simply Red - Leeuwin Concert - February 2007

SOLD OUT - see website A few 100km's south of Perth, but probably worth the trek for many.... Simply Red has been announced as the headliner for the 2007 Leeuwin Concert at Leeuwin Estate Winery near Margaret River on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February 2007.

Formed in Britain in 1985 by Mick "Red" Hucknall, Simply Red quickly gained international stardom with hits including "Money's Too Tight (To Mention)," a Top 40 Valentine Brothers cover and "Holding Back the Years," a Hucknall original that topped the U.S. charts. A string of international chart toppers followed, including "Infidelity", a cover of Cole Porter's "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye", "It's Only Love", "A New Flame", "Something Got Me Started" and their cover of Harold Melvin's pop classic "If You Don't Know Me By Now".

Tickets are $125, and usually sell out very quickly. Order forms will be mailed to people on the mailing list this week, and if there are any tickets left, you can download an order form from the website from 10 December.
