I was at Rockit yesterday 2009 . As much as I enjoyed the bands ,THE MUSIC the most… But what ruined the day was NO SHADE AVAILABLE !!!!!!!!
We pay top dollar for tickets . We queue in mile length lines to enter , to buy a drink and even to get a small strip of shade from a fence ,depending on the sun.
We have to obey all their rules and regulations and treated like sheep .
We cant take any shade of our own in like umbrellas as they may be used as weapons . Fair enough…I understand that .
BUT BUT BUT…What about the DUTY OF CARE responsibility of the organizers .
Alcohol gets o a lot of duty of care , under a huge tent that us as sheep must quickly enter and exit .
Thousands are packed into the venue and thousands is profited from the venue .
If you agree with me stand up for our rights .Ive called local council ..and writing letters. The more who do the same the more they might listen. We need CHANGE !
This complaint includes other outdoor music festivals but Rockit is the worst perpitrator that Ive endured.

wolf mother r no longer together and havnt been for a while… this is a joke having the living end even in the line up, they were already at roller coaster and and BDO, we dont need them there, get some acts no 1 has sen for a while, sick of this australia crap

Did you see my edit or new post? No rockit again, but Blackjack instead, with Pixies, Gnarls Barkley, Eskimo Joe and The Living End, Thursday 5 April (day before Easter friday)

By the way, Pete, Gyroscope are playing a free gig at McCallum Park on 25 feb (it’s part of the WAMI festival)

and Wolfmother will be at the West Coast Blues n Roots (a bit out of place, but I don’t mind!), and the Foo Fighers should be coming back to Australia sometime this year I reckon…

really hangin out here to see the line up for Rock iT 07. it would be aws if foo fighters wolf mother grinspoon killers eskimo joe buterfly effect and especially GYROSCOPE!! were going. be the best line up anyways just want to say keep up with the good work rock it is always an event to look up 2 hopefuly we will see the line up soon

Ive heard rumours that red hot chili peppers might b a surprise act it would be awesome but i doubt it will actually happen.
