They’ll be at the Big Day Out on 4 February, but My Chemical Romance will also be performing at Metro City on 5 February 2007.
After selling more than 2 million copies of their record Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, My Chemical Romance, will be bringing a taste of their new epic, theatrical concept album The Black Parade with them to Big Day Out and a few select headline shows around the country.
Tickets go on sale from BOCS on Thursday 9 November 2006. Good chance that this will sell out.

BGC are building a new entertainment centre so we can have more bands come to perth but its not going to be completed until 2010 :( !!! its going next to the current perth entertainment centre and will be called “Perth Arena”…. :)

Adelaide got a show and not us, that’s embaressing, we’re ten times better and crazier than adelaide.
Do you really think that there will be enough time inbetween Adelaide (3rd) and Auckland (6th)???.
Or that there is a chance that they might tack Perth on after the Auckland show.
And I checked Burswood dome, and the Hopman Cup is being held there on the 4th-late december.
So really there is only Challende stadium , who gives a shit of its expensive, artists play there all the time, I don’t care if the acoustics suck. I want MCR to come here.

no they said due to time constraints MCR will not be coming to Perth, they also said if the saw more interest they would reconsider they decision and possibly bring MCR
they NEVER said that they would reconsider if more interest was shown.
they only ever said that it was not possible for MCR to come this time around due to time constraints.

I was just wondering if anyone has thought about putting flyers or something in music stores around Perth like JB Hi-fi and 78 records and stuff. Just with the URL to the petition and stuff on it. I dunno, maybe its a dumb idea but it’s worth a try right? We need as many people as we can get to sign it if we want even the smallest chance to get them here! Id do it myself, but I dont live in Perth, I live in a tiny town that has like 3 MCR fans living in it lol.

That They Would Return To Perth. It’s Only Fair We Have Been Dying To See Them All Year. It Sucks To See Other People In Australia Telling Us That They Are Attending MCR Concert And We Dont Even Get The Chance To. It’s Only A 4 Hour Flight ! Please Please Think About This Us Perth Fans Would Be So Greatfull .

Thanks for your email. The band has prior engagements which will not allow them to extend their stay. While a flight from the East Coast may only be four hours, it takes days to transport the show to Perth and back.

How Fucked Up Just Because Of The Transport ect
AH! I still don’t get how they are doing this to us!
For BDO there was one day in between Adelaide and Perth to transport the entire show and that was like 35 bands and the show started at 11am! There are two days free between Adelaide and Auckland, surely they could fit in Perth seeings it just two bands and the show starts at what, 7pm?
It just doesn’t really seem like a valid reason. Whatever they have after Australia, wouldn’t it have made more sense to have booked those dates making sure that they had enough time to actually tour the whole of Australia? I mean I understand not being able to do two shows in one city because of time constraints but actually having to skip an entire state just seems ridiculous!
Im sorry, I guess Im just way bummed about not getting them back here. I remember back when they announced that Frank wouldn’t be making it to BDO, I said that I would be able to handle the fact that he wasnt there because they were coming back. The whole year I have been looking forward to them coming back, I swear I heard my heart shatter when I read the dates and noticed Perth was missing!
