Ten Days on ARTRAGE is in full swing! Check out the Funk Club Block Party on Friday night, or the many events happening on the streets of Northbridge on Saturday night, including a dance spektakel and night market.
The Northbridge Festival in on Saturday and Sunday, in association with the City of Perth and ARTRAGE. See the full program and map here.
The Canning Show is happening on Friday evening and Saturday, with all the regular show stuff, a Battle of the Bands, BMX and Motorcross displays, and animal nursery and more.
The Darlington Arts Festival in on in ‘the Hills’ on Saturday and Sunday. Expect art works, craft stalls, demonstrations, ‘have a go’ workshops, food stalls and more.
The Subiaco Craft & Community Fair is held on Sunday, with stalls, entertainment, children’s rides and food.

Music
Less Than Jake are performing at the Amplifier Bar on Tuesday night. Tickets $40.90 through BOCS.
Japan’s Guitar Wolf + Mach Pelican are performing at the Amplifier Bar on Friday 3 November. Tickets $27.20 through BOCS.
Greg Hastings is celebrating a 30 year music careers with special guests and ex-band the Mucky Duck Bush Band at the Fly By Night Club on Friday night. Tickets $15 at BOCS.

Alex Kidd is performing at Ambar on Friday night and D Ramirez at the Soda Bar.
If you feel like a couple of hours drive, you could go and see Jimmy Barnes perform at the Doodil Tavern, in Doodlakine, on the Great Eastern Highway. Tickets are $52 from BOCS. You can camp or swag there, and it’s an outdoor event.
Richard Clayderman is performing at the Burswood Theatre with his band and the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra. Tickets from $75 through Ticketek.

Performing Arts / Theatre / Circus / Comedy
A black comedy drama, The Gin Game is a Pulitzer Prize winning play, and stars Julia Black and Terry Norris, the award winning husband-and-wife team. It’s on at the Playhouse Theatre from Wednesday 1 November to 11 November, and tickets are around $40 depending on when you go and concessions.
Cosi, a play by the Graduate Dramatic Society is on at the Dolphin Theatre at UWA from Friday to 11 November 06. Tickets $24, conc $18.
Fyodor’s Demons, a play by ‘cutting-edge Perth independent theatre company Last Seen Imagining’, is being performed at the Blue Room until 18 November.
Delicate Balance by Pocket Theatre is three one act plays by loca dramatists, and will performed at the Swan Basement from Tuesday to Friday. Tickets $15, conc $10.
Greg Fleet and Dave Grant (comedians) perform at The Carine on Wednesday night, and the Hyde Park Hotel on Thursday and Friday nights. Tickets are $30 through BOCS, see above links. For all other regular comedy nights, check out this post!
Everything Must Go, presented by Playlovers Inc. looks at musicals from the last 50 years. It’s happening at the Hackett Hall in Floreat from Saturday 4 November to 18 November, and tickets are $20 through BOCS.
The WA Opera opens with Tristan Und Isolde on Saturday night, and it’s only on for two nights after that, the 8th and 11th. Seems to be sold out, BOCS says to contact them.
Circus Joseph Ashton is in Bassendean from Friday until Sunday 19 November. Standard adult tickets around $20.
Other
Luna Cinema’s has another ‘Talking Pictures’ event on Wednesday. Andrew Denton will introduce his new film/doco ‘God on My Side’ and answer questions afterwards. This event has sold out, but they will now have a second screening, also with an introduction by Andrew Denton, though without the Q&A. Tickets $15 at Luna.
The Australian International Animation Fest is happening at Luna in Leederville from Saturday until Monday.
Clydsdale Horse Show at Mussel Pool in Whiteman Park on Sunday.
