Fremantle
Well, we didn’t actually make it to any events this weekend (hey, who said you always had to be doing ‘stuff’ to enjoy Perth, it certainly wasn’t me! :p ). But we did make it into Fremantle on Monday afternoon, and enjoyed the sunshine and atmosphere.
Unfortunately there weren’t any activities left to do from the Heritage Festival (will try and do better next year!), we couldn’t find the exhibition at the train station, and the display at Angus and Robertson was only 4 photos (interesting though). I did discover which nice building was the Town Hall, read some ‘historical’ signs, and took some photos in High Street.
We also walked with Bailey at South Beach (there were people swimming there!!!!), had a look at the Welcome Walls at the Maritime Museum, and had an early dinner at the E-shed Markets, where we had a nice spot outside in the sun.
I’ll leave you with a photo of Bailey, who thought that the statue of the dog at Victoria Quay was real, even sniffing it’s butt!
