Another site that may be of interest to keen walkers is my non-commercial site "Bushwalks in the Perth region, Western Australia" (www.walkgps.com). It provides maps and details of 50 one-day walks in the region, ranging from easy on-track walks to more challenging partly off-track walks in the Darling Range.

The Perth Trails website (www.perthtrails.com.au) is based on a book produced by the Councils in the area - The Swan Valley and Perth Hills Trails Discovery Guide. It is a great guide with detailed maps and trail notes for walking in the Swan Valley and Perth Hills.

The book only costs $12.95.
