Holey moley moo its the middle of March already?
Give it a few more weeks and it’s Easter. Add a few more weeks on top of that and it’ll be the middle of May! I have no idea why that timeframe is relevant but I thought I might mention it for the people who are having birthdays in the middle of May. Like OMG you guysss, that’s totally random? Yeahno? (that was my weekly attempt at sounding like a cool 17 year old. Did I pass?).
This week is jam-packed with crazy events. I’m fairly sure Perth can retire the label of being boring. No really, just look at tonight’s highlights: Dinosaur Jr at the Rosemount (which I’ll be there – feel free to throw beer coasters at me if you see me), Massive Attack at King’s Park (wish I was there too. Can anyone here clone me?), The Power! Album Show at Villa (why didn’t I get tickets to this? Hello? Ticket fairy? Gimmie).
If you’re like me you might find life a lot easier to live, by covering your left leg in polyunsaturated margarine. If you’re not like me, you’ll probably want to go see Tom Jones – A Day on the Green on Sunday. OK, I lie. I totally love Tom Jones. Its so hot that he’s finally accepted the fact that he’s a million years old and stopped dying his hair. Nothing hotter than a man who accepts his inevitable death. Well, aside from a polyunsaturated left leg that is. On the topic of delicious things, have you participated in any of the Eat Drink Perth events? Do it. Its very tasty.
Jamie (resident EnjoyPerth! aircon installer, knee-capper and meteorologist) informs us that Saturday will be really really really hot. Which will be great for those Puppetry of the Penis guys, cos nobody wants cold performers. Sunday will be quite pleasant with a slight chance of rain. The rest of the week will cool down, bringing all us Sandgropers perfect weather to invite their favourite EnjoyPerth! editors over for a BBQ and a slab of delicious cider. HINT HINT.
Whatever you do this weekend, we hope you go out and Enjoy Perth!
