Yabu Band is one of Western Australia’s most successful and respected Indigenous acts. Their highly acclaimed album “Gundula – We Dance” is recognised as a landmark Indigenous album and won a Deadly award in 2009.

Yabu Band are touring nationally to promote their powerful new single “Petrol, Paint & Glue”; a song about the desperation of Indigenous youth affected by substance abuse and its appalling impact on Aboriginal families and communities throughout Australia. The song is an emotional plea for help.

Yabu Band is supported by special guest, John Bennett; a singer-songwriter from the Kimberley who has won the WAMi Indigenous Song of the Year in 2011, APRA for song of the year and was nominated for Male Artist of the Year at the 2011 Deadly Awards.
