Walk Against Warming 2010

Western Australia is blessed with an abundance of renewable energy potential from solar, geothermal, wind and wave power.

However, in recent weeks the WA Government has approved a massive expansion in coal power stations that will contribute to an appalling 75% increase in carbon pollution.

If we walk together we can stop the coal expansion and instead put WA on the path to a clean energy future.

Join thousands of people from across WA at the Fremantle Esplanade Reserve, Sunday 15 August at midday for the 2010 Walk Against Warming.

We will be planting a sea of windmills on the day to show that we want a clean energy future, not new polluting coal power stations in WA.
