Voices From The Heart at Riverside Theatre

A fundraising charity concert in aid of Children's Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation (Inc) in Australia, Voices From The Heart will be presenting to you a varied and interesting programme in both English and Mandarin. It pulls together some of local & China's most talented artists to bring audiences a night of cultural experience and entertainment with songs, magic, acrobatic and dance performances.

One of the voices is from Perth the new star Jun Zhang, Tenor Soloist in Rossini's PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE at the Perth WA Conservatorium and a Recitalist for Art Song Perth; Principal Tenor for ABC-FM97.7 radio's direct broadcast of Offenbach's BA-TA-CLAN and is currently Alfredo in Verdi's LA TRAVIATA with the Perth Lyric Chorale. In his solo show BEIJING TO BROADWAY in May 2009, he told his life story using operatic arias, Chinese folk songs, Broadway numbers and classical ballads. Audience could look forward to a night of vocal indulgence.

One of the highlights of the concert is the all time favourite Chinese acrobatic performances by Liu Kai Li and Su Lin of He Nan origin. These young performers are an excellent showcase of acclaimed Chinese Cultural Performing Arts. Their performances across the globe, especially in the U.S. Disneyland, have them listed as one of the most popular performances in the history of Disneyland.
