Swan Autumn Polo Festival 2010

This year Kings Meadow Polo Field will host the Inaugural Swan Autumn Polo Festival on March 21 between 11 and 4pm.
The WA Open Tournament will showcase international world ranked polo players all vying to take home the Chandon GRD Cup, Auto Classic BMW WA Open and WesTrac Hart Cup while amazing spectators with the speed and grace involved in the sport.
Swan Autumn Polo Festival will act as the launch of Perth’s Autumn Festival which includes 10 different events happening in Perth’s Eastern Region to celebrate the areas diversity and special attractions.
So come and enjoy a day out with family and friends, food and drink is available, or bring along a picnic, something to sit on and find your self a place under the trees to enjoy the action.
The day will offer the opportunity for everyone to get onto the field and participate in the traditional ‘divot stomp’ and get involved in the spirit of the game by cheering on our local teams.
 
Polo is a very fast paced game with highly skilled riders and horses. During the game players may come off the field so it is important to stay 10 metres back from the field boundaries at all times, not to cross the field during games, leave your dogs at home and to keep a watchful eye on children
