Supafest 2010 (formerly Jamfest)

2010’s first urban pop music tour will be here in April. The first artists to be announced for the inaugural JAMFEST tour features some of the world’s most popular artists today - AKON, KELLY ROWLAND, PITBULL, and support from DJ Nino Brown and Chris Sorbello. The JAMFEST promises over 5 hours of non-stop hits and live music.

The JAMFEST is a brand new music event celebrating fresh, chart-topping Pop, Hip Hop and R and B music and culture.

Akon performed for fans in Australia only 6 months ago – he got such a great response, and loved it so much that he’s coming back! Australian fans will also be the first in the world to see Akon’s brand new 90 minute live show performing all the hits we know and love including ’Sexy Bitch’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Don’t Matter’.

Kelly Rowland is a multi talented singer/songwriter/TV host and actress who has achieved millions of album sales, smash records and accolades throughout her impressive career. Kelly is about to release her third solo album and is sure to deliver an amazing show for her Australian fans, including the smash single ‘When Love Takes Over’ (with David Guetta).

Australia just can’t seem to get enough of Pitbull! He is still enjoying chart success with ‘Hotel Room Service’ and ‘I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)’. His third single, ‘Shut It Down’ featuring Akon, is already climbing up the urban charts and is sure to be his third smash hit in this country.

Australia's Number One Hip Hop DJ, Nino Brown, is widely regarded, and respected as a true master of the turntable. With numerous accolades planted firmly under his belt, this hip-hop star continues to prove that he’s earned his place in the ranks of Australia’s finest DJs.

The Jamfest introduces new Australian electro pop artist, Chris Sorbello, an artist that you’ll be hearing more from this year. Her debut single ‘So Lonely’, produced by hot local producer, Sam Lamore, is slated for release in early April.

DJ SLICK is without a doubt one of Australia's hardest working DJ's. Not only being signed to AV8 Records, SLICK is also resident DJ at Perth's biggest R&B nights Glamorous & Classic and has an impressive resume of support shows including Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube & Kelly Clarkson to name a few.

Also a resident at Perth's R&B hotspots Glamorous & Classic, Ad-roc has contributed to the scene having DJ'd at the biggest R&B clubs and hosted a weekly Radio show The Drop on Groove 101.7fm. Add to the supporting some of the biggest Hip Hop concerts in Perth from The Game to Ice Cube.

Known for his unique rhyme delivery, gritty street tales based on life experience, All combined with a notorious on stage presence have made the name of Xzakt. Supporting Hip Hop icons like Grandmaster Flash, LL Cool J, Ghostface Killah, RZA, Redman & Methodman and many more.

Jerrie has already taken the West Coast by storm with her smooth original sounds, and is now gearing up to hit the rest of OZ. Jerrie has performed on tour along side artists such as Ice Cube, Ne-Yo, Joe, De La Soul and Montell Jordan.
