South Perth Fiesta 2010

A major event on the City’s cultural calendar, Fiesta brings together an exciting mix of concerts, art programs, workshops and recreational activities.

Highlights for 2010 include the Foreshore Festival, headlined by Australian Idol winner Wes Carr, Totally Best Family Day Ever and Fiesta Finale, featuring Australian music legend Mark Seymour and Unwrapped: the marketplace.

Highlights:

Fiesta Foreshore Festival
This family event is the opening of the City of South Perth's Fiesta of 2010, and the closing event for the Town of Victoria Park's Twilight Concert Series. The Festival will be a bonanza children's activities, face painting, roving performances and a headlining performance by Australian Idol winner, Wes Carr.

Totally Best Family Day Ever
Part of Fiesta 2010, this family event will feature a number of fun and exciting free rides and performances. Come down to the James Miller Reserve for a great day out with the family in a safe environment.

Fiesta Cygnet Concert
This concert will feature the nostalgic tunes of The Continentals.

Fiesta Finale
This family event is the closing event of the 2010 City of South Perth Fiesta. The family day, formally known as the Mends St Carnivale, has been moved to a beautiful location, overlooking the picturesque Swan River. The Unwrapped market stalls will once again be available on the day for browsing and purchases, in addition to this there will be performances on a fantastic stage and a final act featuring Mark Seymour from the Hunters and Collectors.
