Siren Song

This event has passed!

DAWN DUSK SKIES OF PERTH

At dawn and dusk, the exquisite female voices of Siren Song descend from the sky signalling the arrival and departure of the light of each day. Marking the beginning and end of the Perth Festival's first ten days, the sounds reflect through the canyons of commerce, where the skyscrapers become the concert hall and the city the reverb chamber.

Siren Song is a free event in the Perth CBD running for ten days from 9 - 18 February. Listen out between 6 - 6.15am (from 10 Feb) and 7.05 - 7.20pm (from 9 Feb) for these seven-minute sunrise and sunset moments.

Siren Song has been created by sound artist Byron J. Scullin and the curatorial duo Supple Fox (Tom Supple and Hannah Fox).
