Shakespeare in the Park 2010

Shakespeare in the Park is back in King's Park from 8 January to 6 February 2010 with 'Taming of the Shrew'.

The 2010 season of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew in Kings Park and Botanic Garden marks the second production for Western Australia’s new classical theatre company, Shakespeare WA. This is one of Shakespeare’s funniest comedies and remarkably its thematic battle of the sexes makes it as pertinent today as it was when written 400 years ago. So pack a picnic, lay down a rug and surrender yourself to this most rare vision by the world’s most wonderful playwright.
