Scitech after dark – the science of food!

Get ready as Scitech prepares to open its doors exclusively for adults in a rare opportunity to experience Scitech without any kids on Saturday 20 March.

In celebration of ‘Eat, Drink Perth’ this year’s Scitech After Dark will take an insightful look at the science of food.

The event will feature an adult-oriented science show to give visitors a surprising, yet hilarious insight into the effects of alcohol. The more adventurous amongst the crowd will be invited to try out our jelly ‘alginate caviar’! Visitors can also take a look into the logistics of cheese making...and sample the delicious results, of course!
 
Out on the floor, Scitech’s old-time favourite exhibits are bound to rekindle some childhood memories, whilst Scitech’s latest exhibition - Humanoid Discovery offers a fun and exciting journey through the ins and outs of the human body from how you see to how you fart!
