School Holidays at the WA Museum Shipwreck Galleries

This event has passed!

The WA Shipwrecks Museum will have children explore the secretive and exciting world of stowaways and cargoes. What precious cargo will your child choose to put inside their very own treasure box? And just what wonders will they discover along the mysterious Stowaway trail?

13 - 28 April, 10 - 2pm (Closed Good Friday and open Anzac Day, 1pm – 5pm)

Follow the fun Stowaway! Trail where there will be clues to solve, cargoes from across the seven seas to collect, cargo ship puzzles to piece together, and see if you can find the hidden passenger. Decorate your own mini box container to stow away your precious cargo treasures! And use tissue-paper collage and fancy flourishes to decorate your special secret hide-away.

Take the Stormy Seas game challenge to safely load your ship with barrels, bottles, cannon balls and chests and find the hidden characters in our storytelling sessions from 11am. Free activity. Bookings essential for groups of 10+ on 1300 134 081.

13 - 15 April, various times
