The wait is over to see the 1980 film, regarded as one of the most prominent Soviet Era Films which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film. Since then, it has become a part of Russian pop culture, with it being quoted in any given situation. The film illustrates the story of three girls who come to Moscow and befriend each other in their dormitory. It follows their loves, dreams, wishes and careers. An uplifting story that provides a realistic insight into the struggles faced by women in the Soviet Union.
