Perth Festival Opening: Dawn:Dusk

Join us early at Cottesloe Beach for the Festival's most stirring and quintessentially Western Australian opening ever!

As light glimmers off the ocean, Indigenous Elders and performers join audiences and artists from around the world with a Welcome to Country. Hundreds of local vocalists and musicians then greet the dawn with a joyous celebration of the people, natural wonder and artistic life of WA.

Albany gets in on the act when evening falls as the Great Southern Festival kicks off its tenth year - closing the circle of dawn to dusk.

Free shuttle busses available from 6.15-9am from Cottesloe Train Station.
