Oz Concert 2012 - Harmony Week Free Event
Western Australia’s leading multicultural arts organisation, Kulcha Multicultural Arts, will present Oz Concert 2012 on Sunday 18 March 2012, as part of Harmony Week.
Now in its 24th year, Oz Concert is an annual celebration featuring an exciting array of multicultural acts and artists. The free community concert will feature a range of culturally diverse artists, including a collaboration of multicultural community choirs, plus a world music percussion and dance extravaganza. It typically attracts a live audience of 7,000 people, and it’s broadcast nationally on SBS TV.
MC is Narelda Jacobs, the first Indigenous female news anchor for a commercial network in Australia, and Ambassador for the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA and the Wirrpanda Foundation.
This is a free ticketed event.
There will be a final release of 750 tickets available on the day. These will be available from 3pm at Terrace Gate (on river side) at Government House Gardens.
Gates open 4pm, concert 6-8pm. Bring a picnic and rugs.
