"October" at the Blue Room Theatre

This event has passed!

Perfect lives driven by love, hunger, greed, and above all fear

From award-winning Perth playwright Ian Wilding (Carnivores, Torrez & Below) and director Renato Fabretti comes October, a humourous vivisection of the mighty modern condition - complete with love, lust, longing, loss… and a large screen TV – at The Blue Room Theatre, 7 - 24 April.

This Western Australian premiere introduces us to Tim and Angela. Both driven, successful, thriving, bright young things, living in a beautiful happy home with all the comforts one could beg.

And then a stranger punctures their lives. Question turns to doubt; doubt to suspicion; and suspicion to hateful conviction as fear sets the couple on a road of dubious morality. The creepiest and most compromised of men manages to solve their problem, but at what cost?

Presenting company This One Show returns to Northbridge after their successful production of Motortown, winner of three Blue Room Theatre Awards (Best Production, Best Publicity and Best Box Office) and the 2008 Perth Theatre Trust Equity Benevolent Guild Award for Best Male Actor.

October is part of ‘Old Enough to know better’, a new season celebrating The Blue Room Theatre’s 21st birthday.
