Motown - Day on the Green at Sandalford Wines

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Motown - America's greatest record label and global music icon.
To mark this momentous occasion, legends of Motown music reunite, and perform for 'A Day on the Green' at Sandalford Wines in the Swan Valley on Sunday 28 February 2010.

The event will star: The Four Tops, The Temptations, Mary Wilson of The Supremes, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Joan Osborne and The Miracles.

The Motown Sound went worldwide in the 60s and that sound still resonates today with nearly 200 #1 songs Worldwide! Everybody young and old remembers the Motown hits... My Girl, I Heard It Thru The Grapevine, I Can't Help Myself, Heatwave, Stop in The Name of Love, What's Going On... just to name a few. The music of Motown connects generations - incredibly it is the music of today, yesterday and tomorrow!

This is a long weekend, and there will also be a show on Saturday 27 February at Sandalford Wines in Margaret River.
