Lit Fest 2010 – Storylines
What do a clown doctor, a botanist, an ex-hippy and a didgeridoo player have in common? A literature festival might not be the obvious answer but these are just some of the diverse backgrounds you can expect from the presenters at Lit Fest 2010 – Storylines.
Over three days in mid-March All Saints’ College will host presentations from authors and performers at almost 150 sessions including popular children’s writers Duncan Ball, Sally Morgan and her daughter Ambelin Kwaymullina, Craig Silvey and Hazel Edwards, who will be celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of her beloved book, “There's A Hippopotamus On Our Roof Eating Cake”. High-profile sporting personalities such as Troy Cook and Western Force and Wallabies player James O’Connor will form part of a panel focussing on ethics in sport.
Lit Fest 2010 is on from March 17-19 at All Saints’ College, an easy walk from Bull Creek train station. For bookings and more information visit the college website: www.allsaints.wa.edu.au or contact coordinator Kris Williams: tel (08) 9313 9357; fax (08) 9310 4726; email literaturefestival@allsaints.wa.edu.au
