If there is one thing that has united all the music Kid Kenobi has played in his 15 years of DJing it's bass. BIG bass. And lots of it.

Fast forward 2011 and we see bass driven music exploding left, right, and centre with artists such as Sub Focus, Skrillex, Chase & Status, Dillon Francis, Figure, Stanton Warriors, AC Slater, Foamo, Joy Orbison, and many more all coming together to form a new movement in dance some have defined loosely as yep, you guessed it, 'bass music'.
Though it may change tempo and moods - and branch out into all number of genres - big bad dirty basslines is the one thing that seems to unite it.
