Justin Townes Earle at the Fly By Night

Justin Townes Earle and Australia are falling for each other. After touring here for the first time in November '08, he returned in October 09 playing to pack house and sold out venues, and now he is back this April to turn us all on again to his one man, old time, troubadour show.

He will play the East Coast Bluesfest for the first time, as well as Boogie in country Victoria as well as hitting all the capital cities and a load of regional towns.  Justin Towne's Earle latest record, "Midnight At The Movies" was recently named Rhythms International Album of the Year, no small feat amongst last year's great releases. The magazine describes him as “The best thing to happen to roots music since Gillian Welch”.

Joining Justin on select dates will be another USA wordsmith and performer, Jason Isbell. Jason Isbell is formerly of Alabama soul, roots rockers Drive By Truckers. He has just released his self titled second album with his band the 400 unit. Jason is a good pal of Justin's, and the two boys together are sure to make everybody feel right at home.
