Jukebox at Tom Collins House
The second Jukebox night is coming! Jukebox is a series of live spoken word and music recordings that will be placed on a CD and released in December with dotdotdash issue #6, which will also be called ‘Jukebox’. Each performance is a submission, and performers will also get a CD of the night that they perform. We’ll be holding Jukebox nights throughout the year, and it’s probably going to be a pretty sweet trip. We’ll be posting up the occasional performance on our blog.
We are still seeking performers who wish to sign up for the second Jukebox. Please send an email to editor@dotdotdash.org with your contact details before the 30th if you’d like to sign up. Everyone is welcome to perform, and performers will get free entry. You can also sign up on the night for the open mike session, but we can’t offer free entry to open mike performers so try to book beforehand.
We’ll be serving a dinner on the night, which comes free with entry. It’s going to be delectable and amazing and various.
Entry will be $10. Reservations are encouraged (so we know how much food to serve) but not compulsory. It’s free to reserve, just send an email to editor@dotdotdash.org with ‘Jukebox Reservation‘ in the subject line, and the full name of those who are coming in the body of the email.
We will have dinner and a show. We will have secret performance art and a band. Come down! It's going to be pretty great.
