Fremantle Festival 2009

Fremantle Community Fringe Festival - 7 to 15 November
The Fringe Festival showcases the community, coming together to celebrate Fremantle and the creative spirit of its people.
This Sunday 8 November is a big day, join the Valley Park Candlelit Community Feast, celebrate the humble bicycle at 'Two Wheels Good' at the Freo Arts Centre in the morning and enjoy some live music for free in the afternoon, join the Dog's Breakfast and parade at North Fremantle Community Centre, or the Hilton Harvest Lunch in the Park.
Things continue all week, and then the main big free events are on 13, 14 and 15 November:

Norfolk Lane Youth Festival
Saturday 14 November, 1pm – 7pm, Norfolk Lane & Luna Piazza
Wardarnji Aboriginal Cultural Celebration
Saturday 14 November, 2pm – 7.30pm, Esplanade Reserve
Carnival Day - Sunday 15 November
Incorporates a number of events:
Village Vibes - afro and reggae music (2-3.30pm at the Main Stage, Esplanade Reserve)
Fremantle Festival Street Parade (4-5pm through the streets of Fremantle)
Freo Shuffle - Everybody dance! (5-6pm at the Main Stage)
Bhangra Dance Party (6-9pm at the Main Stage)
