Flavours of Chittering 2010 - food and wine festival

If you love good food and wine and beautiful countryside, you’ll love the Flavours of Chittering, a one-day food and wine festival which celebrates our unspoilt valley and its wonderful produce.
The Hub of the event is the Lower Chittering Village Green and Hall in Chittering Valley Road which is open from 10.00.
Here you’ll find the growers’ market starring our fabulous locally-grown food – with a chance to chat to the stallholder-producers.
The prize-winning vintages from the wineries of the Chittering Valley Wine Trail will be available to taste and purchase.
Enjoy cooking demonstrations by celebrity and local chefs; see the alpacas and alpaca products and petting animals.
Light refreshments on sale include freshly-brewed coffee, wood-fired pizza, country-style morning and afternoon teas and a sausage sizzle.
From Perth to The Hub
If coming from Perth, take the Great Northern Highway to Bullsbrook, take the first right turn into Chittering Road and follow it for 17 kilometres then turn right into Chittering Valley Road. The Hub of the event, at the Village Green and Hall, is 500 metres on the left. Angle park in Chittering Road or Chittering Valley Road or in the designated car-park in a field just about 100 metres past the Hall on the right.
