The world’s most isolated metropolis has sculpted its own terrain in Australia’s cultural life with an invigorating and animated artistic calendar, evidenced by over 50 years of Perth International Arts Festival.

While the Festival of German Films in Australia is a relative newcomer to the city’s event calendar, it has quickly found its place as one of the cultural highlights. Having started in 2007 with only three days of screenings, Perth continues to blossom as a festival-city for German Films.
