Fairbridge Festival 2010 in Pinjarra

Fairbridge Festival - an annual family-friendly celebration of folk, roots, blues, acoustic, celtic, a capella and world music in a traffic-free, self-contained bushland site at Fairbridge Village, South West Highway, 5 km north of Pinjarra, Western Australia.

The theme for the 2010 Festival is Crossing Rhythms – musical cross-currents, new spins on ancient traditions with spectacular combinations of live music and dance.

The line-up:

Genticorum (Quebec), Eddi Reader (Scotland), Vin Garbutt (England), Beppe Gambetta (Italy), Arte Kanela Flamenco (Vic), Sally Dastey (Australia), James Keelaghan (Canada), Tetrafide Percussion with the Spice Dance Ensemble (WA), Dva (Queensland/Germany), Mara! (NSW), Greg Sheehan (NSW), Nano Stern (Chile), The Chipolatas (street theatre, England), Barons of Tang(Vic), Fiddle Chicks (SA)

And lots more local and interstate acts to be announced.

There are tickets for different days or the whole weekend. There's camping. And children under 12 get in free!
