The evergreen Dinosaur Jr will perform a series of headline showsthroughout March 2010 and will also take pole position at both theGolden Plains Festival in Meredith, Victoria, and also at the debut of Brisbanes Lost Weekend Festival.

Earlier this year Dinosaur Jr released Farm, their most critically lauded effort since 1988s breakthrough effort , Bug. Featuring all three original Dinosaur Jr members: J Mascis, Lou Barlow & Murph, Farm captures the energy of a band 20 years their junior backed by the superior songwriting skills of both Mascis and Barlow in what many believe to be one of the bands finest works and an early contender for album of the year.

Not being content with releasing one of the stand out albums of the year, Dinosaur Jr also saw fit to release our pick for video of theyear with Over it.

Pre-grunge, pre-indie, pre-nurock, Dinosaur Jr are their own musical island. Bring your earplugs and get with the programme next March.
